Make Money Online Scams Week 1
This is the first installment of Make Money Online Scams and Scammers. I did not have a lot of time to look through the over 52,000 make money online videos that can be found on YouTube. I looked through about twenty or thirty, most of which connected to dead sites, before I cam across this video.
If this is not a make money online scam then I do not know what is. I would almost bet you $26,000 dollars that those are not all $100 dollar bills. More over they are not crisp $100 dollar bills. If you noticed, he never fans out the bills so you can see whether or not they are all really $100 dollar bills.
Now on the header above the video there was a phone number to call. He he, so I called it. Hmmmmm…got an unable to receive calls error message. Maybe it was because I used *67. Not looking good for this bonanza of a make money online strategy. You would think that if he was legitimately making money online he would not block private numbers. That is if the line was not disconnected.
The Video points you to his awesome make money online website, read as heavy sarcasim. Where you find another phone number. I also called that phone number as well. Of which I was promptly sent to voice mail. Strike 2.
Alright, below the second phone number is another link. I followed that to another awesome make money online website filled with just oodles of fantastic information about making money online, read heavy heavy sarcasim.
Every offer on the site had to do with multi level marketing, offer completion, and filling out surveys. These are all some of the oldest and worst make money online scams on the Internet. If this guy is making money online, for real, then he is making that money because he is at the top of the MLM stack; and you are at the bottom.
One of the site Cash Crate has gotten a lot of play recently, especially in the personal finance niche. A few people have reportedly have been able to make some money with them. I have two issues with what people have been saying. First, the money is a paltry amount. And, second the level of prsonal information required to get paid is way too high. Basically, you are giving away your personal information so that these people can then later on sell it on bulk lists. Can you say spam. Can you say telemarketer.
Let’s take a step back. multi level marketing, pay to play and surveys are not legitimate ways to make money online. There is a difference between making money online and earning money online. When you make money online you are actually “making money.” I don’t mean in the counterfeit sense. You have developed a website to sell a product or promote an affiliate product or sell add space. When you are simply completing offers online or filling out surveys, or whatever, you are actually only earning money online. You only get paid for what you do not what you build because you haven’t made anything. As soon as you stop participating the money stops coming in.
Morale of the story, stay away from multi level marketing, offer completion, and survey schemes. Because that is exactly what they are schemes. If you want to learn how to make money online then there are a lot of legitimate sites that you can get a lot of good information about making money online.
