I see that you’ve taken a lot of time to assemble this resource list. SU can work great as a free traffic source for certain types of sites. Thanks for sharing this list with us. I have been an occasional stumbler but I’m planning to focus more on how to maximize its impact.

I think StumbleUpon is one of the best ideas since sliced bread. It really provides you with a lot besides traffic. Currently, i am focusing on the networking possibilities. I am planning on adding a few new documents that I recently found. Keep me posted on your experience with StumbleUpon.

On my niche blogs Stumbleupon has proven to the number one source of traffic, hands down. Sure at a given month it’s place may be taken by digg, but it’s infinitely harder to get any traffic as opposed to Stumbleupon, where sometimes traffic seems to come out of nowhere. I’ve written a Stumbleupon guide as well, you can find it here (http://www.lostartofblogging.c.....the-system), if you’re interested on my detailed view upon SU.

    Tibi,

I am absolutely interested in your view of StumbleUpon. Thanks. I am putting together a list of additions. I’ll probably be adding them at the end of this up coming week.

I am very impressed, I am a stumbler and I will actually give a thumbs up because you did NOT ask for one!!! Nothing ticks me off more than a beg for a thumbs up.
I know how stumbleupon works and hate blogs that beg!

  17. Bransby on September 24th, 2008 6:19 am

I love stumbleupon and think it’s one of the best browser add-ons available, but it’s not a social networking website as you state, and I don’t think it’s yet up there with the top bookmarking/social networking tools like Digg.

  18. TzuVelli on September 26th, 2008 9:33 am

    Bransby,

Thanks for stopping by. There is a very strong social aspect to StumbleUpon. Sharing sites that you like with your friends commenting on them and voting on them is all social. Making friends participating in groups, which are all available at StumbleUpon, is the basis of social bookmarking sites.
