Your Ultimate Digg Resource

digg-logo Digg is the undisputed 800 lb. gorilla of social media sites. Hands down, Digg is the winner when it comes to the amount of traffic it can push to your site. However, Digg is a tough nut to crack. Its culture is less forgiving than other social media sites.

To a certain extent there has always been tension between bloggers and diggers. It should be a simple formula, bloggers publish and diggers dig. And, if the content is not dug then it is buried. If it were only so simple. It is a well known fact that a large proportion of Digg users feel that most of the content submitted by bloggers is either irrelevant, unworthy, or simply just spam. And, bloggers think that Digg users, at times, act like trolls. Whatever your take on the controversy might be, if you expect to succeed with Digg then you need to understand Digg’s culture. You need to understand how to properly participate.

I have assembled the best posts and articles I could find about Digg and how to succeed with Digg. There are a lot of other posts out there that focus on Digg politics, supposed vote fraud, etc. I have avoided including these types of posts, because they do not push forward the understanding and skill development that I hope will occur from reading these articles. I sincerely hope that having these articles available for you, all in one place, will help you learn more about, navigate the pitfalls, and be more successful when using Digg.
